When NEW this tire is pretty darn great, tread life and noise not so great–wet traction not so great. But I really had these to replace the michilin pilot sports and for the small fraction of $$$ I saved it was a big dissapointment near the end of the tire life. Let’s just say that when I thought there was another 5000 miles to be had the entire tread tore apart from the tire and flew off the vehicle. NOT A SAFE TIRE near the end of life… The pilot sports were much better made near the core of it’s assembly… Initial quality of BFG is great, but that greatness completely fades to unacceptable rather sadly…
